Man I have intresting ideas while I take a ****....

I remember a time back there were podcasts on Neowin about what happened in a week and just giving a opinion. I listened to one and didnt like it much, just a personal opinion. But I think what would be intresting is a section that every week a member writes up a written article about something to do with technology. A fake example would be a explanation about RAM giving facts and opinions such as a fact about low CAS settings are great and you can have 100000000000000000000GB in your PC and a opinion such as but in real world usage, a normal PC user has no need for it and will problably never use it.

A topic inside that section would let people post ideas about what theyd like to see a writeup about and with enough "+1" or "good ideas" the staff (or a general member) could decide to write up a article for that week.

I hope my idea is understood. Im going to sleep now so Ill see views on this tommorow. Goodbye.

Wouldnt this fall under the BPN section?

BPN is news. This is a article about anything related to technology. Example I have a webcam infront of me and I know how it works. I explain how it works, some setup, etc.

This would fall under our "Submit to News Desk" function on the front page, link can be found here: https://www.neowin.net/news/submit_news/

If anybody ever wants to write an article, you can always submit using that function. If we like it, we'll publish it - simple as that :)

But this is not news and is not for the front page.

But this is not news and is not for the front page.

But what you're suggesting is "Opinion Pieces" or "Editorials" - an article, and subsequent discussion of somebody's opinion or experiences on a particular topic. Which is something we do regularly post on the front page.

I think perhaps you need to clarify your idea further.
