Berserk87
My 360s started acting weird after i play a game for 10 or 15 minutes the green light starts going back and forth. Since it seems to be happening after playing a game for a fair amount of time, im assuming its a heating issue, i have had this 360 for four years now so... Check the youtube video and tell me what you think. I found a page full of 360 error codes, and couldnt find one like this.
Sikh
Now thats a WEIRD one. Wow. Hey dude you have a launch console, it hasnt red ringed you have it STANDING UP(really really bad) and the only thing its doing is bouncing back the green controller port light, you are VERY LUCKY. Something to worry/not worry about.
Berserk87
wouldnt standing up give it better airflow?
Sikh
Yes, but older consoles + standing up is bad. Plus bad for the cd's too member, the dvd drive wasnt built like the PS2 drive there the CD actually sits nicely, not hangs there till the drive pulls in. Also, Ive seen more 360s die standing up. Honestly laying down is the way i like it. I cant see myself standing it up. Plus its more stable laying down holds games, doesnt more a bit laying down etc. But if its worked so far, no reason to worry. Other then the fact that its running be happy. Dont worry about the light but do make more notifications if things start to progress to be worse or weird'er.
Jeston Veteran Posted October 30, 2009 Veteran Share Posted October 30, 2009 Looks to me like it's just the console orientation sensor starting to fail. Read here for some information that might be of some use. The article is for a stuck sensor, but I imagine the same rocking motion could fix yours. darthmahon
Hmm weird, maybe some power voltage problems? Is it plugged into a extension lead? If so maybe try plugging it into the socket by itself.
