Best Torrent client?

Question

Hello all,

Up until recently I was using Transmission on OS X and it's one of the best Torrent clients I've ever used. I've switched back to Windows and I'm using uTorrent, but it doesn't seem to be that great. Ages ago I used to run BitSpirit but that seems to have died over the years.

I was just wondering what the rest of Neowin uses? Are there better Torrent clients our there?

+1 for ?Torrent

Put ure uploads on 1kb/sec and downloads fly:))

Yeah, unless of course all the peers would be as smart as you and limit their upload to 1kb.

Lets see how your download will fly then;))

Vuze (but with classic view) because it gives the same speeds as ?torrent, without killing routers and modems, and it's got all the plugins I need for categories and auto categories and folders and other neat stuff.

I use ?torrent on my laptop because it's easier to set up though. But most torrent files go into the import folder on my htpc.

Transmission.

Where is it in the poll? Or is the poll Windows only?

Sorry kind it's of Windows only. :p

However I was after a client for Windows identical or similar to Transmission. :/

Let's try this; tell us the features you like in transmission, and see if we can help you find similar features in the clients you listed.
