PNWDweller
Does anyone know of any free or low low cost software for the Mac which would let me enter in the card information into a database and preferably look up the current price automatically and save it in the data file? I inherited a massive collection (to me) of several complete sets of 89-91 sports cards from various manufacturers from my late father about 1.5 years ago. I know they aren't worth a lot at this point, but would love to have it cataloged electronically for insurance purposes (They are in a climate controlled storage unit at the moment), as well as to keep an eye out for any super valuable ones that may pop up, worth putting in a safer place such as a safe deposit box. As I have about 5,000 cards -in my guess, it would be nice to just enter the card number and manufacturer to have it pull the data. I know Beckett.com does this, but I would prefer to stay offline for the majority of entry as opposed to having to log in to their site to have the same privilege.
