+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted November 17, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 17, 2009 I've heard some chatter that my TVs Bravia Theatre Sync is different from Bravia Sync. Apparently only the Bravia's in the "4000"+ category have Bravia Sync (such as W4000, etc). Mines is in the 3000 range. Word is my 40V3000 remote will only be able to move around the XMB, not actually select anything. Apparently the PS3 Slim only works properly with Bravia Sync. However I actually use my HT-SS1300 remote for TV navigation, which uses Bravia Sync. My current fat PS3 and 360 route through the receiver with HDMI. Should this mean the PS3 Slim Bravia Sync should work seeing as it's my receiver remote I'll be using (supports Bravia Sync), and not my TV which is Bravia Theatre Sync? Bit of a mumbo jumbo question, I'd just like to know for sure before I get a slim if I can also ditch this Bluetooth PS3 remote and truly just use one remote for TV/Receiver and PS3.
