48 Hour Trial Code Isn't Working?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

My friend gave my a 48h Trial code to Live, I go to Xbox.com and activate the thing and it's all fine and dandy.

I start up my 360, boot up my newly arrived copy of MW2 and access the Multiplayer menu, I press "Xbox Live" and it gives me this error message;

"The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live"

I'm guessing it's because it still sees me as a Silver member - Am I missing something here, tried waiting for around an hour yet it still doesn't work. Can it take longer or did I do something wrong, perhaps MW2 is the second coming of Jesus and doesn't allow silver members using 48h codes to play online?

I know there's a hint of joking there but just to make it absolutely clear, my profile isn't banned - I even played a bit online during this Xtival-crap-whatever and it worked fine - Though perhaps I may have been a bit too fast here, it seems like Xbox Live is having some problems like Xbox.com had a few "Too busy" messages plus I changed my avatar an hour ago when I first tested it and that still isn't reflected on my Xbox.com profile so maybe, just maybe Xbox Live's servers are having a hard time.

They probably are. :laugh: Hopefully, everything sorts out well for you, mate. ;)
