Felix_
The special edition of this game looks to me as a complete waste of money! I wonder if getting it on the Xbox 360 will have better load times with installing it to HDD. Probably not. I got a 360 the other day. Load times are awful >.< Tried loading the games to the HDD and the load times are still awful! I'll either rob my brothers ps3 to play FFXIII + FFXIV or go out and buy one. How do you know that the 360 load times for FFXIII will be worse than PS3's? There are several multiplatform games out there that has actually shown that the PS3 games have worse load times than the 360, most recently Bayonetta. Probably cause it's been developed for the PS3 then handed off to another Square department be ported to the 360.

So in a roundabout way he's saying, or you're saying, that sqaure can't port it's own games well? Oh boy.

Oh boy. Where did I say Square can't port their own games? Just usually what happens to the PS3 is anything that goes lead on 360 ends up a bit rougher translating to PS3. If anything going from PS3 to 360 is easier on devs - Only thing to be considered here is dicing up the game for the split discs. But don't worry your 360 copy will probably be fine GP007. Xilo
How do you know that the 360 load times for FFXIII will be worse than PS3's? There are several multiplatform games out there that has actually shown that the PS3 games have worse load times than the 360, most recently Bayonetta. Bayonetta was PORTED by Sega. It was originally developed on the 360. Multiplatform generally don't perform as well on one system than the other because developers don't optimize the code for each system. FFXIII was developed for 360 and PS3 side by side and their engine/tools are optimized for each system. They should be performing about the same... And did you miss the part where I said "roundabout way"? Seriously, a good number of ports play just the same on both systems, in the cases where they have noticible differences it's often because the devs had to change something or couldn't do something on system B that they did on system A. Now if they don't play the same and there is a difference it's due to the devs inability or lack of desire to make it work the same. I don't worry at all, every 360 version of a multiplatform game has been fine. But thanks anyways.
