WastedJoker
I'm running Vista Ultimate 64bit/6GB ram/dual GTX 260's and when I play Crysis, via Steam, it loads weird red lines over the screen and the graphics have a weird red cast too. It has done this every time except for once but I can't pinpoint why :( I'm using latest drivers/DX10.. Any ideas? I've googled but no luck. Also, if I change to windowed mode it looks ok. Weird. Raa
Could be a problem with the video card. Is it just Crysis? Try and older driver (yeah, seriously). Windows 7 that PC as well mate. You won't regret it!
WastedJoker
I'm doing the upgrade option as we speak.. Dragon Age Origins and Mass Effect run ok too.
Raa
Legendary stuff mate! (Y) You might find your problem resolved after the upgrade. IIRC, it did that to me once, uninstalling Crysis completely (delete all files) and reinstalling then patching to 1.21 fixed it for me.
WastedJoker
I'm not sure I want to wait until my Windows 7 upgrade arrives. I've disabled v-sync/triple buffering to no effect. Any ideas?
WastedJoker
Hmmm, I enabled v-sync in game and it fixed the red lines but there's a noticable flickering on the screen now :( I can play the game but I think it'd give me a headache. Will see how it goes.
WastedJoker
Yup, game is unplayable - the flickering is very fast and has a red tinge to it. No idea what this can be :(
WastedJoker
Tried running it in dx9 with the -dx9 shortcut command but no change either.
