evo0o
just wanted to know if anyone had difficulty getting windows 7 installed via boot camp? are there any issues that i must take note of prior to this? other than battery life being sucky, is there anything else? i know apple doesn't support win 7 with boot camp yet, but will the installation go through? what happens when boot camp is updated, will i have to reinstall win 7 for the update to take effect? also, will the multi touch trackpad work in win 7? like 2 fingers to right click etc... OmegaHack
I actually just did it the other day and it went through just fine. Nothing special about it. For the trackpad you set up everything in the mac drivers under windows, it will be in your taskbar after you install the boot camp drivers. Geoffrey B. Veteran Posted December 3, 2009 Veteran Share Posted December 3, 2009 As of the last time i checked the track pad and sound are the only major issues at the moment. However if you have snow leopard then everything should work out without major issues. Here is a site that will walk you through the process of setting it all up.
