SuperJediMedia
You remember years back they have several TV show specials to send little robots into Narrow corridors in the Pyramid. Of course, no curses, traps and living mummies were witnessed :p And, I believe they came to a block and couldn't go any further... Does anyone know they ever discovered what's behind that block? rathefeare
The pyramids name and location would be helpful. I vaguely remember that special. It was one of the 3 pyramids at Giza and was probably the "great" one. I remember it was a shaft from the "queen's chamber" that they were exploring, but I have not heard if any progress was made since the special. It was more like Geraldo Rivera doing Al Capone's lost vault than a serious archeology show from what I remember.
SuperJediMedia
Great Pyramid of Giza. how do you undiscover something? LOL, true... edited. but I have not heard if any progress was made since the special. It was more like Geraldo Rivera doing Al Capone's lost vault than a serious archeology show from what I remember. It's pretty serious due to the credibility of National Geographic and CNN ( http://archives.cnn.com/2002/TECH/science/...over/index.html ) covering it, I just am dumbfounded they never made any further progress in 7 years? detoxa
Well that narrows it down a little lol :D I think most pyramids have some kind of service tunnel in them , but i do recall a documentary something along those lines. Maybe this ? Secret Door

It might have been. I has been quite a long time since I last seen it. I just remember it as being kind of more of a publicity stunt and the fact that nothing else has apparently been accomplished since might just mean that it was. I also think you give National Geographic too much credit and I know you give CNN too much credit. Both those organizations are not beyond making a fast buck. SuperJediMedia
If you can't trust CNN, you really can't trust NO one else either. Anyways, back on topic. Man, Pyramid has to be one of the MOST interesting mysteries on earth!

mudslag
ya I remember this, there were 2 shows about that tunnel, the first time in the 90s where they got to the first door and drilled the hole then the second time a few yrs back where they went through the first door. I like the ramp inside idea, maybe that hole was an air shaft connects to the ramp?

Pallab
I remember watching that show. Nat Geo really made a big deal out of it and beamed it around the world. Its strange that no one has made any progress since then. Zahi Hawass was really excited about finding out the was behind the door.
ghostwalker
Kinda makes you wonder how perfectly aligned these pyramids are, and they build it so long ago!!! The Pyramids where not meant to be perfectly aligned. They now believe it represents the 3 stars in Orion's belt, the first two aligned with the smaller offset.
