Daniel F. Administrators Posted June 13, 2003 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2003 moved to security. The are standard warnings about people trying to see if you have a trojan on your machine. But dont worry cos your firewall blocked the attempts.

m0
Try Scanning your pc with an antivirus but as stated before your safest and easiest way of ridding your worry of trojan is to format and reinstall windows :) m0.

Shibby
do not worry i got this alot of times when i had nis now i got tiny and i been getting alot of hack attempts on me but i know why i use a program that is sorta p2p like and it has adds and i use opera, and i found out it was just the adds causing the probs cause in tiny they is a mointer where u see what program is going in and out and the ip where it is going in/out and i looked up the p2p prog and opera and sure enough the ips going in and out like adds and stuff. so no need to worry if u r using a program that is supported by ads like opera. cause this is very likey just the adds trying to connect. well i am not but i do get the odd netbios-sn attempt on me but once in a blue moon type of thing cause it just random IP typed in Shibbs the novice 15yr old :(
flakingbiscuit
make sure you always use your internet condom (firewall)! just be sure to scan for virii every once and a while, and keep a firewall running. Run ad-aware or a spyware detection util every once and a while too, cuz spyware can get annoying
