.KICK
A neat feature indeed but I find it funny how Xbox Live was praised for everyone to be able to talk, now most just want to mute them all and just listen to friends. Games like Shadowrun worked great with voice, miss that.

Games like Shadowrun worked great with voice, miss that. I definitely do not plan to use it all of the time, just certain games, and for whatever reason MW2 is one of those games, I have to use it. It is really simple for me, when I do indeed get to play, which is not that often these days, to me it is all about fun and relaxing so to speak. While I try my best, if enough 16 year old kids talk trash, and even if it is not to me if I just hear them talking trash, I get angry, that's the simplest way to put it. I am almost 20 years older then them, and I am old enough to be their father. While they do not know this, I do, and I know in the real world it would not happen and I would get some respect 90% of the time (meaning sure in the real world there is gonna be some 16 year olds willing to talk smack to me too), but I just refuse to put up with it in the virtual world. Massiveterra
2 things really **** me off about xbox live. 1. Racial slurs 2. Singing Now that I can mute that without ever hearing it first is the best news I've heard in a while

Yeah I understand that perfectly, MW2 seems to be worse than other XBL games. It really annoys me when kids as young as 10 are playing this game when its for over 18's only! Microsoft needs to impliment a new system to stop kiddies playing on Live but if they did that then they would lose a lot of revenues!
Massiveterra
I wish we can choose all ages rooms or a 21+ room. Kind of like a bar
.KICK
I wish we can choose all ages rooms or a 21+ room. Kind of like a bar There are some gaming communities that only play with certain age groups but that is about the most we will see at the moment! Its easy to lie about your age on XBL so right now it woul be pointless to have that!

Its easy to lie about your age on XBL so right now it woul be pointless to have that! http://2old2play.com/ I actually signed up with that site a long time ago, basically in the days of the first Gears Of War. I had initially met some of the supposed founding members from it playing GRAW, and it was pretty cool for awhile, but there was just to much drama like there is with any other "clan" so to speak. I remember when I first met them I added them all to my friends list. After a few weeks or so, I honestly do not really remember all that much, one night I saw they were all on playing Gears 1, and I joined the game in progress, and only a few of them were there. The others were in another match. When I asked why, they started telling me all this drama, so I literally disconnected, sent a message saying sorry my internet connection was acting up, and I never talked to them again. :shiftyninja:  That and I remember in order to really be considered part of the group, you had to add some clan tag in front of your Gamertag, and I was a cheap ass and just did not want to pay the 800 points. Honestly I did sense something might be up kind of right away, and it turns out I was right. So while I really liked the idea, as with any large "group," there is drama involved, that I just do not need.

loki5068
This maybe a stupid question but when you change voice to friends only can other people in the lobby hear you talking to your friends in the same lobby like in MW2
Geoffrey B. Veteran Posted December 24, 2009 Veteran Share Posted December 24, 2009 to my knowledge when it is set to friends only it is exactly as stated its friends only. However i have not tested it on this game such as the example you stated.
Green_Eye
This is an absolute GOD SEND! :D If anyone remembers the scene in Law Abiding Citizen where the judge pulls out her phone and BAM she gets her brain layed out on the wall. Yeah someone needs to invent a similar device for XBL headsets :shiftyninja:
