The Death of Mac OS 9

Recommended Posts

I guess people need to be a Mac person to appreciate stupid "humor".

Because all Mac users find this hilarious.

It's amusing, but only because I hated OS 9. Not that funny, IMO.

2002 called, they want their videos back.

j/k, yeah, even as a Mac person, I found that a bit lame.

By the way OP, every time somebody says L*L, a child dies...

Microsoft should have done the same thing with Vista. :p That's right I went there.

A funeral? Um, no, they should take Vista out behind the shed and shoot it in the back of the head, then kick a couple swipes of dirt on it.

But the difference is that Win7 is based on the 6.x kernel, the same one used by Vista.

Whereas Mac OS X was completely new from the ground up. When Mac OS 9 "died," it really, truly did.

Vista's fine. I've used it with next to no faults. A hell of alot less faults than XP.

You cannot tell me with a straight face that you found Vista easier to use than XP

huh, yea I really could. Certainly alot less headaches than XP. I've being using it for almost a year, and it's been smooth sailing all the way!

In fact, I failed to see any real huge difference in 7 over vista.

Yea, you heard me.

I don't think you use a computer for anything but basic stationary work. You probably wouldn't see a difference.

Once RC1 came out I sold my MacBook and built a new X58 system just for Windows 7.

Lame computer newb.

haha, so most people shouldn't bother with anything above 98?

Most people could probably still get by using Windows 3.1 for Workgroups or System 7.
