AllNitemarelong
I like co-op multiplayer, but singleplayer mostly for me :)I just dislike all the stupid people that trash talk and stuff like that on global multiplayer. Haha trash talking is what MP is. On another note ill purchase a game for every feature it has to offer. why buy a game and only play half of it? why not play everything you possibly can. On most games i go for the full 1000 GS(i have 360) and ill try to achieve the highest rank in online play.
Ayepecks
Singleplayer is normally my deciding factor, but I enjoy good multiplayer.
cmc482
I was all about the single player until L4D/2 came out and now can't seem to play single player anymore...Just not enough challenge and fun. Theres nothing better then getting 8 friends together and totally destroying the other team.
bryonhowley
Both, usually - Ignoring Multiplayer is usually equal to throwing your money out the window. I find Multiplayer to be just that a waist of my money. Game studios do not get my money unless the game has a solid Singleplayer campaign
LightIdea
@Sethos When you live in rural Australia, and can only get ****ty satellite connections, and have a cap of 5GB a month, with 512kbps download and upload, multiplayer is just crap. Yeah but I don't, see that really doesn't factor into my opinion or views :p
Orien
I'm a big fan of good multiplayer games, but if a game has a REALLY good and immersive single player mode, I'm totally up for that as well.
Jimmy0
Both. Depends on the game.
Matrix XII
I used to only buy for MP, but these days I just play single player mostly. When you play online you need time to get good at the game, and it's hard to find time for games these days :(
Corris Veteran Posted December 20, 2009 Veteran Share Posted December 20, 2009 I will always buy a game based on its SP, but I like a good MP too which can always be a plus. Unless its a MP game only, at which point the SP view doesn't come into it, though I do hate games that have stupid Trophies/Acheivements for MP parts of games that have a downright bad MP that no one will play.
