xVid and OGG on Mac, is it possible?

Recommended Posts

When I had my mac I used to encode my DVD's as Mpeg4 and AAC, but now with my Xbox xVid plus Ogg (OGM) is what I encode in, is there a solution to this on the Mac? Come to think of it some form of Divx and MP3 would be fine, I've just never tried anything other than MPEG4 + AAC.

 I've been out of the loop too long, I didn't realise there was Divx for mac, last I recall was something called 3ivx, oh dear

Thanks :)

it can play pretty much any format around.... i think

how does this help though? He doesn't need to play it, he needs to encode/create files in DivX and OGG formats.

Lol, cheers guys. C..r..e..a..t..e.. video :p

I used to use Quicktime as my main app and a little drag and drop for AC32wav then copied and pasted in quicktime. But my Xbox won't play MPEG4 + AAC (I don't think).

Nah, I don't think XBMP has support for AAC yet (though it's on it's way). Don't know about MPEG4. Personally I'm all about SVCD :)
