WastedJoker
Since Microsoft don't like you using unsigned drivers, using my PS3 controller in Win 7 is a no-no because you have to press f8 to disable driver signing  This leaves me with no option but to buy a separate pad for my pc. Any recommendations?
s1k3sT
360 controller, either wired or wireless with the dongle.
Sethos
360 Controller for sure, works perfectly with most games, updates through Windows Update and is the best controller on the market today.

Draconian Guppy
+1 on 360 best ergonimics IMO http://www.thrustmaster.com/product.aspx?P...mp;PlatformID=5 Somehow I wasn't imagining that to be a controller still fugly as hell...
MR_Candyman
+1 on 360 best ergonimics IMOSomehow I wasn't imagining that to be a controller still fugly as hell... It's by far the most comfortable controller out there, and it's coated in rubber, so it doesn't slide around in your hand. It's much better than the 360 controller (which I would probably place in second place)

Guest xiphi
+1 For the 360 controller. It blows away any PC controller I've ever tried.
mad_onion
yeah the 360 controller is the best. even changes the icons in some games to X,Y,A,B.
trag3dy
I would second the Logitech Rumblepad 2. But it rarely just works with a game without going through (what seems like) a different annoying process for each game to get it to work correctly. The xbox 360 controller on the other hand, from what I've read about it seems to work with most games these days without any issues. Harlem39s Finest
logitech rumblepad 2, wireless, similar to ps3 pad in shape. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/c...87&cl=us,en Edited December 15, 2009 by Harlem39s Finest

I like it even better than the 360 one everyone's ranting on and on about. I have that controller and I still prefer the 360 controller over it. As much as MS failed with the original xbox controller, they did an awesome job with the
DirtyLarry Veteran Posted December 15, 2009 Veteran Share Posted December 15, 2009 yeah the 360 controller is the best. even changes the icons in some games to X,Y,A,B. This, the thing is with most games nowadays, if they also have come out on the console, the support for the 360 controller is already built in, so if you play it on the PC, there is no adjusting settings, mapping buttons, etc., they just work no issues. Grab a wired one as they are cheaper, and enjoy it. I have several controllers for my PC, and I always default to my wired 360 as it is the least painful out of the bunch. trag3dy
Anyone know where to get a black xbox 360 wired controller in the US? For the life of me I can't find one. Places I've looked only seem sell the white one(Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Newegg). Even the Microsoft store doesn't list a black wired one...I guess maybe that means they don't exist? I am like 98% positive they never made a black wired controller. Only Wireless. Only white for wired.
