Twenty-Six
I'm planning on doing a Skype conference with family out of the country over Christmas. I have a 17" MacBook Pro which I will use the integrated webcam or my DV camera to send the video. The MacBook will be hooked up to a 32" LCD TV to see the people on the other end. My problem is with the audio. There would be up to 6 people that would participate here. I know using speakers isn't an option because of the feedback. Another challenge: my niece wants to play the piano for my family. Is it possible with Skype and OS X to have multiple sources for audio in and out? I was thinking about getting a few cheap bluetooth headsets for everyone if it is. Then maybe get a cheap USB mic to hold near the piano. I'm not -too- worried about quality. Any other suggestions? I really want to do this right for my family. I'm not looking to spend a ridiculous amount of money on an audio mixer, but I'd be willing to spend a little bit to get this right.
