Flip_Kid
Is it possible to have nested tables show up properly in netscape? ... i hate netscape and trying to make my pages cross-platform ... maybe I'll take a leaf out of other designers' books and have a big sign that says ie4.0+ only :)
0 Kris
As long as you nest your tables using valid HTML as well as making sure you don't nest the tables too deep you shouldn't have a problem. Just make sure if you need to nest tables, that nesting is actually necessary. I re-did a heavily nested site the other day, and managed to make an EXACT copy of the site... I only used 3 tables tho - as opposed to 9 in the original!
0 Flip_Kid
yeah good point - I've managed to narrow it down to 2 necessary tables. what do you mean by valid html though? thnx :)
0 Captain Phatty
"Valid" HTML means don't use any IE specific code when designing a site. FrontPage is the only software I know of that will do this.
