x9248
I use my PS3 A LOT... I play a lot of games and also use it to upscale my anime DVD's. I'm just curious, is there some special thing I have to submit to activate the 1 year warranty or is it just there? The little ****** is always running hot, which is nothing new... it's been doing it since day 1 so it's not a declining issue and I assume it's normal. Better safe than sorry tho :p
Bhav
I think you just need to hold on to your original proof of purchase.
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted December 26, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted December 26, 2009 I think you just need to hold on to your original proof of purchase. I didn't need that but the guy did ask where I bought it from and I said John Lewis with one of the TV Bundles. There might be a way they check the serial number on the PS3 to the store it was allocated - Maybe not like actual individual store, but know that that shipment went to the John Lewis warehouses. Bhav
Yeah you may not "need" it...but it's the ultimate form of proof. That way they can't suggest you've ebay'd it or whatever. Hold on to it...it could be useful. (And also if you want to deactivate that PS3 if it's died...I think some people said they've been asked to fax proof of purchase?)
