medium_pimpin
Awesome - First RROD. Can anyone tell me this will work: If I buy one of the new 360 Arcades, will I be able to attach my existing hard drive and access all my game saves/etc? Thanks

Thanks Someone Correct me if Im wrong but I think that would work just fine...Because if Im not mistaken it doesn't effect the hard drive at all so all your game saves should be fine :D :D :D

Thanks Yes, your HD will work with all your saved games. Did you verify that your existing unit isn't under warranty?
+Mystic MVC Posted December 27, 2009 MVC Share Posted December 27, 2009 Yes that will work just fine. When did you buy your 360, if it is the RROD it should still be under warranty.
dragon2611
If it's not under warranty and you're feeling adventurous can try the x-clamp fix if you wish, if the xbox is already dead there isn't much to lose by trying it. (of course if it's under warranty then just send it off)
medium_pimpin
I checked - out of warranty since 5/09.
apreichner
I checked - out of warranty since 5/09. The Xbox support site only tells you when your original 1 year warranty expires. If it's the 3 red light RROD or the E74 error, you are covered for 3 years.
