Brendando
Halo Reach will be the gritty Halo experience that real Halo players have been waiting for. Some people won't understand why it's not rainbow candy unicorn land, and this may dent sales. Gears of War 3 will at least be announced, may be released by the holidays. And will kick ass. Billus
I'm a PC gamer, not a console gamer. Games I'm looking forward to: Assassins Creed 2 for PC (most likely March) Battlefield 3 (maybe, depending on early reviews) Formula 1 2010 (please please please be a simulation, not an arcade, full pit-stops and awesome AI) Games I'm hoping for that may or may not come: Half Life 2 Episode 3 Halo 3 for PC (embarrassing, yes I know. I just want to know how it ends and NO SPOILERS PLEASE) Star Wars Jedi Academy 2 The Battle For Middle Earth 3 and a decent Star Wars RTS (bring on some DX10 or 11, massive armies and a more strategic focus) Star Wars Battlefront 3 (decent AI, better controls, more realism(?), strong multilayer foundation, better first person controls and looks) Fable 2 for PC
Buio
Red Dead Redemption will be a damn good game, better than GTA IV. I'll would have it preferably on PC though.

red.
... Demon's Souls (in the EU; PLEASE someone release it here! ) Guitar Hero 6 (a fairly obvious one) Rock Band 3 (not so obvious, but we've had Rock Band 2 for a slightly extended period of time now, so it's time to get the third one out) Guitar Hero: Queen (rumours are floating about, so I won't be surprised to see it happen) Guitar Hero: Hendrix (same as Queen, but the rumours have been going on for much longer) Twisted Metal PS3 (please? ) WipEout PS3 SSX 4 (please make this and rid our minds of the god-awful Wii releases!) A couple more Lips and SingStar expansions (no idea what they'll be, but they're bound to happen) Project Gotham Racing 5 (go on, Bizarre, surprise us and work on this after you release Blur) Call of Duty 7 (I'm betting on it being set either in the future, or in Vietnam) LittleBigPlanet 2 Warhawk 2 I would seriously love for a Warhawk

Aero_Rising
Budget titles or not, the fact is games of all sorts based on Vietnam have been around for 20+ years now, and WW2 titles have been made for just as long. In fact there's even more of those. If nobody played budget titles, then the devs would probably quit making them. But sadly they haven't. Kind of off topic but games with small budgets aren't necessarily crap. The majority aren't good but not all are bad.

DirtyLarry Veteran Posted January 7, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 7, 2010 And perhaps my biggest out on a limb prediction by far, Microsoft is going to announce a whole new project related to Live that is going to be something like what Sony wanted to do with Home, but it will actually be successful. It will be closer to an MMO / resource management game like The Sims meets World Of Warcraft. You will be able to also play it through your browser using IE. It will be integrated into Twitter, Facebook, etc. They are going to try and create what they believe to be a whole new genre of social video game even though it will technically just be based on stuff already out there right now. Okay so I was way off with the second part about the MMO, but Game Room is pretty close to what I said in the first half and very last line (based on stuff already out there) of my prediciton. kizuran
Final Fantasy 13 will release to mediocre reviews and successful sales, but less than predicted FFXIII released on Dec. 17, 2009 in Japan/Asia. Sorry to burst your bubble, but FFXIII has gotten consistent 9.0+/10 ratings from several asian gaming publications, & moved an estimated 1,698,256+ million copies in Japan in approx. 2 weeks. If Japan has a PS3 gaming community of rounding 4 mil, that's saying about half of PS3 owners there have FFXIII in their collection already.
