Argote Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Well, I almost always do the spot where the photo is taken from, but I think the other option is better for some types of photos (I try to maintain consistency). Obviously this doesn't matter when your subject is close, but sometimes the subject and place where the photo is taken is far away (I have a photo of a building taken from 3+ kilometers away in my Flickr photostream, tagged in the place where I took it). Plus, if you REALLY wanted to get back to that exact same spot, say, for example, if you got a new camera and wanted to try your hand at getting a better picture, you know exactly where to go :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
