IIS Folder Permissions

I have IIS and it works but till recently i want to mess about with setting up forums and stuff i have MySQL & PHP install but the files on the IIS doont have permissions to write i have give it write permissions can some one please help here is a shot of Inivision Power Board failng to install

Also how can i start IIS from the run command cos i know it's NET START, NET RESTART or NET STOP but what is the service

I'd suggest you read the documentation for the forum software. It will probably let you know.

To see the list of running services, just run net start. To start a particular service, run net start servicename, or net start "service name with spaces in it".

I've seen this before. In the folder options, turn off Simple File Sharing. Then right click C:\Inetpub and go to the permissions. Make sure you grant the user INET_something (I think) all rights. I could clarify this if I was using Windows, but I am using Linux, so I am just going off of what I remember.
