OOOOOOOO
Hey ... I just bought an Xbox360 purely for FPS games that aren't available on my PS3. I have had the Xbox for a short while and toyed with it a lot but so far in the short while I have had it, I've had to replace one controller and the actual console! Grinding sounds aren't fun! Anyways ... so I will always buy cross platform games on my PS3. I prefer the system's controller , it's just nicer for me ... but since there are some games, such as Halo 3, Perfect Dark ... I thought I'd get an Xbox for the exclusives .... So can anyone give me a definitive list of games i can ONLY get on Xbox (or PC ... I don't PC game so if it's on PC too that's fine ... as long as it's not on PS3, because I'll buy it on there instead if it is). FPS only :) So far I have played Left 4 Dead 2 (don't like it) Halo 3 (Not sure it's as good as the hype but will persevere) On PS3 I have played the cross platform FPS games that are out there to death ... Thanks guys! :)
Plarkster
Hmm... I can't think of any FPS exclusives other that what you've mentioned but if you don't mind third person shooters check out Gears of War 1 & 2. Too Human, Fracture and Prey might be worth a look aswell - they're cheap and get reasonable reviews. They're on my list of possible games to get once I've played through what I've got. Edit: forgot about Mass Effect! Edited January 5, 2010 by Plarkster
BajiRav
If you can find enough people for co-op, Halo3 and Halo3:ODST's co-op can be really fun.
OOOOOOOO
Thanks ... will keep persevering with Halo3 ... I currently prefer Frontlines! :) Even tho it's not as polished, it just feels better ... heavier maybe. Dunno. :)
Massiveterra
Would it be safe to say you don't have Xbox Live?
OOOOOOOO
Would it be safe to say you don't have Xbox Live? In fact I DO have Xbox Live as it came with one month free :) I will evaluate the need to buy it at the end of the month :)
Massiveterra
I suggest to try Left 4 Dead 2 again, but play it with friends

Cupcakes
Not sure if you'd been keen on playing some "classics" but: Halo CE Halo 2 (if you play on live, you can still find a lot of matches) F.E.A.R Shadowrun the Orange Box The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay Call of Duty 2 Halo CE will just be for campaign and maybe LAN if you have a friend that has it and/or would play with you. I actually LOVE CE. It's my favorite. Escape from Butcher Bay is another AWESOME game. Play it, now! Orange Box is five games in one (and also on the PC.) You'll get Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode 1, Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and Portal (completely awesome although not so much an FPS but still AWESOME.) :)
