chimera963
I've been looking all over the place, trying to find some backup software for OSX that will allow me to back up my external NTFS-3G (MacFuse) formatted drive to another external NTFS-3G formatted drive. I've tried Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper! and both of these either don't support the NTFS-3G, or throw out a selection of errors and don't back the data up. The two external drives I am using are exactly the same, I wish to make a complete clone of my main external, out of the backup external.

Well I never tried it for anything other than a Windows Partition but WinClone for Mac can backup clone/move a Windows ntfs Partition http://twocanoes.com/winclone/
chimera963
WinClone seems to create an image of the disk, not actually back it up/mirror it to another disk.

Well you can't mirror it like on a daily basis the way you can with CCC for HFS+ but you can make the image then restore it to another disk, might take a lot more time that way but you will always have a backup to restore Windows on your mac If no one else has another Idea you could at least try it no? chimera963
I am not trying to restore Windows to anything, my Windows partition is part of my Mac's internal hard drive. I have my main external hard drive, which has music/video/etc on it, which is formatted to NTFS-3G, meaning I can easily use it in OSX and Windows. This is the drive I am trying to mirror. I have never tried it with NTFS drives but OS X can RAID external drives, if it can do this with NTFS drives I doubt Windows Could Access it since it is a Software RAID. I'll keep on eye out but I don't know of OS X software that can do exatly what you want Edited January 5, 2010 by Phantom Helix
chimera963
Yes, maybe just backing up these drives, while using my Windows partition would be the best option.
