Textedit vs Notepad

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

Just wondering if I can use Textedit in the same way I have used Notepad to "clean" HTML when transferring content from one management system to another?

If not, what's the alternative for Mac, or are both programs essentially the same?

Thanks,

Medking

TextEdit does both rich and plain text, so it's more of a combo of Wordpad and Notepad. It defaults as rich text though, so you'll either need to set it to default to plain text in the preferences or do it manually each time.
