Medking
Hi there, Just wondering if I can use Textedit in the same way I have used Notepad to "clean" HTML when transferring content from one management system to another? If not, what's the alternative for Mac, or are both programs essentially the same? Thanks, Medking
giga Veteran Posted January 5, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 5, 2010 TextEdit does both rich and plain text, so it's more of a combo of Wordpad and Notepad. It defaults as rich text though, so you'll either need to set it to default to plain text in the preferences or do it manually each time.

Quillz
TextEdit is surprisingly advanced. It has a lot of typography features even Word doesn't have.
