Corris Veteran Posted January 13, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 13, 2010 Do we know if the special edition contains the perfectly normal game box inside? Id order it from HMV if it is a normal box, but if not, i'll get it from somewhere else.

My understanding is that it's just a slip cover so should be standard box inside, not even a steelbook I don't think. AB Regarding the 18 rating, maybe the Taxidermist DLC will come with an 18 rating and as the Special Edition includes that it gets the 18 certificatation too? Just a guess, no idea why it would be higher than the game itself. Maybe even just an old mockup?
soniqstylz
SCEA FTW!!! http://www.destructoid.com/sony-responds-t...te-160360.phtml? Yesterday, Sony revealed the US box art for Heavy Rain, and compared to the European package, it was awful. Fortunately, enough people thought so for Sony to take notice, and SCEA has responded to the hate with a compromise. It will offer up a printable version of the UK box so that fans can use that one instead. "We?ll be doing that for those that would prefer the UK artwork. Keep an eye out on the blog around launch," confirms associate product manager Christian Cardona. It's actually pretty cool that Sony would respond to fan reaction like that, even if the offer of a printable cover is a mere gesture. Seriously though, SCEA needs to start using European box art for its games, because this has happened before. Need I remind anybody of the ICO debacle? Ironman273
SCEA FTW!!!http://www.destructoid.com/sony-responds-t...te-160360.phtml? If they really wanted a win they would print a two sided cover so the user could flip it around. Printing a cover on standard non-glossy paper? :x
