Shadrack
3rd party developers are basically giving up on the Wii console (which I think everyone predicted from the beginning). I think if they came up with something creative and good it could be profitable on the Wii. But probably that same creative energy could be invested in a PS3 and XBox 360 game; probably making more money. Doesn't really matter terribly. I think it is pretty obvious that Nintendo still made a killer profit on the Wii (more so than the Gamecube) and will remain in-business for the next gen of consoles. I <3 Nintendo. I hope they come out with something really good next gen. My best childhood memories were with my NES and SNES. Truly the kings of their time. Shadrack
They're shooting themselves in the foot.... and if they're not, i'll do it for them! But seriously, what's with PC gamers getting the royal ass raping thesedays. No, it's not piracy either. Haven't you noticed? Moore's law is still well and good...but we aren't see the vast leaps and bounds in graphics and gameplay we were seeing in the 90's. Sure, the graphics are better on my PC than they are on my XBox 360. I can tell the difference. Its still visible that the aliasing on my XBox is **** compared to my PC. Do I really care? Not really... in fact I prefer playing some game on my 360. This wasn't how it use to be. There were some PC platform genera defining games like the RTS games and RPGs back in the 90's. These days, about the only appeal going to the PC is MMOs and FPSs (maybe some RTS). And the FPS games are just as good on the 360 if you can pick up a gamepad and get over your mouse+keyboard comfort controller.
