fpd
Thanks to all the devs for the new theme. However, neowin mobile no longer works on my Nokia E71 resulting in very long page load times - any way to bring this back?
Timan Veteran Posted January 19, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 19, 2010 The mobile that was here past few days won't be back until we go back to IPB (when ever that may be). Till then we have to use what we have now.
M_Lyons10
Thanks for the update. I see that there is a new version of Neowin Mobile up now, but the text gets cut off. Are there any plans for having this wrap or anything? I use the mobile site a lot, and it's very difficult to see things... Thanks,

carmatic
Still no mobile for E71? Is it not possible to have the old site back for unsupported phones? the database is converted ... so there is no more 'old site' , there's only ipb3 now... fpd
Please correct me if I'm wrong but the news section of the website doesn't run on IPB3 but custom software contributed by the website's own resident coders. The old mobile website simply showed news stories in a format that was suitable for low bandwidth mobile phones with small screens.
+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted February 4, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted February 4, 2010 You're correct, the main website is an in-house script. I'm sure a low-bandwidth version could be whipped up, but I'm not sure if it's a priority.
