How do I set up Internet Connection Sharning for DSL and what materials do I need Laptop specs: P4 2.6GHz with Windows XP Home. and the other computer: P4 1.6GHz with Windows XP Home Both have ethernet cards. Schmoove Posted June 19, 2003 Share Posted June 19, 2003 If you have UTP cable enough, just get a crossover adapter. They only cost 1 or 2 dollar. Then connect both pc's with eachother (via the ethernet cards ofcourse). The PC will funciton as a internet server then. You can use the ICS from Windows XP, then just use the wizard and it should work. Better is to use Winroute for example, personally I like that a lot more!!
