Web Browser forum guideline is misleading

Recommended Posts

In this forum you can discuss all browser variants except the ones listed in their own sub category.

Usually a poster will only spend 0.5 seconds to read the guidelines, and they give the impression that you can post about all browsers, which is the opposite of what the guidelines want to tell you.?

Also, does ANYBODY use a browser engine other than the four ones which do have their own sub-category? NOBODY! That's why the parent forum should be locked, and you must create a new thread in a sub-forum. Or, you could add a fifth sub-forum called "Other Browsers".

I will wait for a supervisor to comment on this, but in the meantime, I will link you to this announcement :) It's evident at the top of the parent 'Web Browser Discussion' forum and presents examples of threads which are usually much better suited in the parent forum.
