l337hardware Posted June 20, 2003 Share Posted June 20, 2003 Given a class A ip range of 10.0.0.0 /8, and I had to subnet 15,000 networks... would the address range end up: 10.0.0.0 - 10.0.3.255 10.0.4.0 - 10.0.7.255 10.0.8.0 - 10.0.11.255 10.0.12.0 - 10.0.15.255 10.0.16.0 - 10.0.19.255 and the 2nd I was practicing was given a class B of 134.59.0.0 /16 i'd end up with: 134.59.0.0 - 134.59.1.255 134.59.2.0 - 134.59.3.255 134.59.4.0 - 134.59.5.255 134.59.6.0 - 134.59.7.255 134.59.8.0 - 134.59.9.255 is that correct? hehe im learning networking right now, just wanna check with the community, I was doing these on my own. thanks guys! :happy: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
