Youtube embedded posts don't have a maximise button

Recommended Posts

i think its the resolution of the video that neowin uses to embed at that determines if there is a maximise button. For example when using wordpress it will have a maximise button when you embed in blog posts but if you change the resolution to embed at it disables it.

I don't know if that's really an issue. Here's what you can do, though: Right-click anywhere on the video and select "Watch on YouTube". From there, maximize the video for your viewing pleasure. :)

This one has the FS button. Maybe the main news uses the embed, while the forums use the youtube tags.

It depends on the video , the bbcode tags are just hiding the html embed code so both vids are the same

however that said the {youtube} code made the square videos and the {wyoutube} made the wide ones, lets try both on the same video

As you can see the wide one has the fullscreen button, I tried embedding this using the method Neowin does and they left out allowfullscreen="true"

This one is the {media} tag

This one is {youtube}

This one is {wyoutube}
