WinXP Pro Belkin 4-port router 1 PC 1 Laptop w/802.11g I looked at prices of wireless 802.11g routers and its 100+ so I was hoping for a better solution. What do I need to buy so that I can use the router I already got but can give my laptop wireless access, the pc can stay wired. Has to be 802.11g too, I just dont get what I need with all different products out there. Any help would be great
bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 20, 2003 Veteran Share Posted June 20, 2003 you will need a wireless router, I'm pretty sure you can't avoid it.

Steven
alright thanks for the help, I hope I can still take back that router or exchange it to take some $ off. You need a Wireless Access Point, if that belkin router you have doesn't have a built in AP or take back the router for a router with a built in wireless ap.
