Sega please bring back VECTORMAN!

Recommended Posts

One of the most astounding moments in my childhood history. It had such a short legacy but I know it was loved by everyone who owned a Genesis/Mega Drive

I want to send a letter to Sega asking of them to remaster Vectorman in 720p like they're doing with Sonic The Hedgehog for 2010.

I'd want them to make more 2D side scrollers like this in the future.

One of the crazy things about this game was how ridiculously hard each level became, no matter how many sphere capacitors you obtained throughout each zone, it would be like having only 4 on the first level, but the power ups, metamorphosis, and buster rifle options were really kick ass! I ended up buying Sonic's Genesis Collection just so I can play it.

Graphics back then wowed me more than today if you could imagine.

I remember when I bought this game. Never heard of it before and I was looking to spend birthday money. Friends never owned it and it was before I used the internet / bought gaming mags.

Turned out to be one of my fav games from my childhood.

Wouldn't want to see them ruin it now though with a crappy "next-gen" port.

ps oh and the music was awesome

I never played the game, but I did buy a music pack of SEGA games years ago that included this game, and it was the best of the bunch. Sadly, that album, among dozens of others, were stolen from me.

Nah dude, I don't want them to make Vectorman into the PS2 3D Alpha prototype that got scrapped a few years ago but if they kept the same graphics model but ressed it up in HD and have even more crazy boss fights I'm for it.

Oh yeah the Music kicked ass!
