Web Site Analyzer software

Recommended Posts

I'm heading up development of a number of interconnected websites that will prove to be pretty large in size by the end of summer.

My supervisor had the idea of getting some kind of web site analyzer software that can automatically crawl the site and report broken links, orphaned links, site summaries, etc.

First, does software such as this exist? Second, how much can we expect to fork over for something like this? Also, would it be software or more of a service that gets done by a third party?

Lastly, any examples, links of this software?

yeah you can use Microsoft Frontpage 2002 or 2003 beta and import your entire website and run the report checker, it'll scan for broken anything.
