DMA 66/100 in XP

Does anyone know if newer builds of XP (or any) support DMA100 properly - as 2000 didn't (i think) and used to recognise the controller as some type of SCSI device (and would only run at 66)?

I believe that they fixed that problem in SP2 for Win2k so I think it's safe to assume that WinXP DOES support it properly.
