0 hdood
One of the direct links to the MP3 stream is http://208.80.52.246:80/ESPNRADIOCMP3 The player actually reads the channel list from this XML file: http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/player/stations.xml There you see the playlist for each station, in this case stream_url_mp3="http://provisioning.streamtheworld.com/pls/ESPNRADIO.pls". If you open that, you get all the mirrors for the MP3 stream. As to how you actually get it, I'm sure you can look through the source code of the site, but personally I just run a network monitoring tool (in my case, Microsoft Network Monitor) and look for something relevant. I will admit that this is probably too complex unless you have experience with it, but there you are. Cupcakes 1 Share

0 gate1975mlm
gGG Is there a way to grab the underlying URL from a streaming audio player (e.g. ESPN Radio): http://sports.espn.go.com/espnradio/player?station=espn I used to have a working URL but that has now changed to some news station. Thanks! Here is a handy tip for you guys! :) For StreamTheWorld Radio Streams do the following!! Goto http://radiotime.com/Index.aspx And hover your mouse over the URL of the stations main page that opens a new link. Not the "Listen" button While hovering you will see a status tooltop at the bottom of your browser. Now copy the displayed number right after the "s_" in the status tooltip. Now in the address below replace "12345" with the new number. And now copy and paste the new address in the browser and it will open Winamp and start playing the station. http://wunderradio.wunderground.com/support/wunderradio/m3u/m3umaker.m3u?action=m3u&wuiId=rt:12345 This trick will allow you to get the radio streaming address from internet radio streams that use Flash Player on web sites! 0 stradibarrius
I am a noobie here and am not a geek. I found this thread in a search of how to find the streaming url of a radio station. I see that you have helped find a couple of stations and I was hoping you might be able to help me. I would be glad to do it myself but I do not have the computer skills...I am trying to find the streaming UL for WFLA-AM 540 in Orlando. I hope you can help Thanks
