Online status banner removed

Eww. I thought the old one was sexy. This green dot reminds me of throwing up... The color is so dried out, not sparkle or bright glowing, looks old and washed out...

I have tried it and it looks awesome. But I noticed the script has some encrypted url to the remote images.. I am not interested in that. I turned it off. I will use it again if the script isn't encrypted.

@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("neowin.net") {
}
.status-online {
 background-image: url("http://i48.tinypic.com/9ih9xs.png") !important;
 height: 29px !important;
 width: 35px !important;
 left: 0px !important;
 top: -10px !important;
}

Its not really encrypted, its just so the image doesn't need to be hosted externally.

It's the image in base code: completely safe. Imagine opening an image in a special text editor and copying that.

It's sort of like how SVGs are basically text descriptions of the image, which then get processed by the browser into the "real thing". It's not in any way remote.

For anyone that wants the online status icon created by Jigoku http://userstyles.org/styles/24637

Thanks mate, the icon looks awesome. Rep for you and Jigoku.

Edit

I had to modify the colour a bit for the black theme.

The green dot is certainly better compared to the red banner... but the second design by Jigoku fits perfectly with the forum design. I know it's a bit ridiculous changing again, but it should be considered.

Currently, something about the green dot still looks a little odd.
