CyberKewl
I've been using Agnitum's Outpost Firewall 2.0 for a few days and have noticed that i can't seem to enter some of the PlanetX sites such as PlanetCNC.com, PlanetUnreal.com or PlanetMedalofhonor.com. However, i could enter Planetannihilation.com, which is strange considering that it is still a PlanetX site. Other websites load just fine though. I've tried checking the configuration of the firewall, tinkering more or less everywhere but still can't figure out what is causing the problem. When i shutdown the Firewall (by right clicking on the icon and selecting "Exit and shutdown outpost"), the problem goes away. Strangely, even if i disable it (by selecting the "Disable Mode" policy), it still doesn't work. The only way is to shutdown the firewall completely. Does anyone here have the same problem or know of a solution?
Sierra
No help here but I've tried it and can access those sites. That's weird. Have you modified something or is it still a 'clean' Outpost installation?
CyberKewl
Well i've tried to reinstall outpost by uninstalling the old one and cleaning out the directory, but the problem still remains.

Shibby
maybe contact the site maker or outpost them selfs to see if they have any ideas?
CyberKewl
The thing is, i can't access those sites using IE6, the progress bar goes up to 100% (sometimes up to 60% and varies), and just stays there. If i use Firebird however, the problem goes away completely.
CyberKewl
I've found a temporary solution - if i disable scripts for those sites (using MyIE 2), i can access them.
Sierra
So OP 2.0 doesn't like other tools running at the same time? Unacceptable :)
CyberKewl
No, not really. Alternatively, i could just use the active content filter plugin in outpost to disable scripts automatically when i enter those sites. But of course, i'd be losing out some functionality on the site but i guess i just have to live with it for now ;)
AndyD
Hmm. You know what...I was having similar problems with other sites and ended up blaming it on the sites without considering outpost. Let us know if you figure it out :)
