cabron
I love the mobile theme of Neowin but the developers need to focus in common sense features. When I click in my nickname i can't see any link to see my latest posts or topics. Why you had forgot these common sense features?
Timan Veteran Posted January 29, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 29, 2010 I added view my posts at the bottom of the board index. That is all you'll get for this particular thing. You could of also just gone to your profile and click the find my topics/posts link. Also keep in mind... cabron
I am sorry but I can't find it on the bottom I only see: View new content, Members, Help, Advanced search and Mark board as read. It is not easy to find it.

Pajter
The new mobile skin looks great, but I'm having a hard time getting used to it. For instance, I haven't found the "go to first unread post" button on a topic. Could someone enlighten me please? ^_^
cabron
Also there is not such thing in my mobile profile to find my latest post. The only feature in my profile are: Change profile info, Change about me page, Change signature, Change photo, Change avatar, and managed ignored users. There is not such thing as "Find my topic/post link". I searched every link I can and it does not exist. You need to be logged in, I can see that now, but what about my topics? Timan Veteran Posted January 29, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 29, 2010 You can now click the Neowin.net logo to "quickly" get to the bottom of the page. Also if there is a new post when browsing a "forum only" it'll go to the new post when you click the topic link.

TurboTuna
An issue I've noticed for the iphone on the forums... When quoting alot of text and the text is more then the reply box can handle you can't scroll... this happens everytime i've tried it. To reproduce: Browse forum topic Quote Post Add reply Unable to scroll in the reply box.
Timan Veteran Posted January 29, 2010 Veteran Share Posted January 29, 2010 You should be able to just tap your finger (brings up the little zoom circle thingy) and drag your finger to the bottom of the textarea.
Pajter
You can scroll in textarea's, but not when you're editing/typing. You have to exit the textarea, and then you can scroll. At least, that's how it works on my iPhone. :p Or you can do what Timan suggested, but that's really slow.
cabron
You should be able to just tap your finger (brings up the little zoom circle thingy) and drag your finger to the bottom of the textarea. That's how I usually do it. I can't really find another way in my ipod touch.
TurboTuna
This could be why...i was expecting to be able to just 'flick' my finger in the area...i may have imagined that i used to do that though... :-/
Shadrack
Timan: When looking at a News post with the Neowin Mobile skin, I see two issues: 1. When you hit "Load Remaining Comments..." it refreshes the page and takes you to the top. Is there anyway to have it automatically place the browser view to the last comment prior to where the "Load Remaining Comments..." is? Otherwise there is lots of scrolling, and you kind'of have to re-read through comments you've already looked at to figure out where you left off. 2. When replying to a comment pass where the "Load Remaining Comments.." link was, the browser refreshes and looks like you are entering a new comment. It actually properly replies to the comment you selected but you can no longer see it. Also, it does not automatically quote the comment you are replying too. If you click reply on an comment prior to the "Load Remaining Comments..." the comment is properly quoted for you and also the thread is placed right above the form (making it much clearer as to whats going to happen when I hit the submit button).
