0 szo
Hi... There are these awesome tutorial videos and articles at this site: www.css-tricks.com You can also buy these two great books: "Rockstar WordPress" and another book called "Digging into Wordpress." They are good reads. They teach you everything from the basics to how to skin, and make it a cms etc. Hope it helps.
0 Alan-
Depending on your level of expertise in HTML/CSS, what I have always done for Wordpress themes is go to http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ and choose a base theme that is on the track of what you eventually want yours to be. Then, just go in and edit parts until it finally is what you want.
0 #error
Thanks, I'll buy the ebooks and check them out. Also, MrEggsalad, I find it easier if I can look at what im editing. Do you know any program that will allow me to watch and code? Liike dreamweaver?
0 Cupcakes
I would start out with a basic theme. Starkers theme is a naked Wordpress theme with nothing but the basic code and validated xhtml skeleton. I'd definitely recommend working with that as you can build up without worrying about someone else's previous coding conflicting with your own code. 0 threetonesun
http://www.wpdesigner.com/2007/02/19/so-you-want-to-create-wordpress-themes-huh/ I walked through that in about an hour when redesigning my site: http://flicktitio.us/ Wordpress is pretty easy to design sites for if you have a good idea of what you want the final product to look like before you begin. I didn't, so I'm still going through cutting stuff from my stylesheet :p
