John.D
Because what I'm wanting to do, is connect the Xbox 360 to the HDMI on this monitor (its already connected - to play Xbox games), and connect the HD AV cable from the Xbox to the TV (the other end is already plugged into the TV. So I can stream the DVB-T tuner to the TV). To save me swapping them all the time.? Since, both wont fit atm, because the HD AV connector is too fat. The HDMI cable wont fit in. Are there skinnier / thinner HD AV or HDMI cables, so I can do this?? That's if you can do this

However, one person removed the casing of the AV connector so he could plug both in at the same time - I can't find the link now but it's on Google somewhere. Bit of a pain, but no other option really. I can't remember why the other guy did this though so I'm not sure if you will get video to both outputs - he might have been using the AV cable for audio only. Edit: here's the link: http://www.chadledford.com/?p=50 He did do it to get the audio so I'm not sure it will be suitable for you. If you've got HDMI on your TV it would be easier to get an HDMI splitter.
+Audioboxer Subscriber² Posted February 2, 2010 Subscriber² Share Posted February 2, 2010 Yup there's the trick to doing it, but you switch input connection on your Monitor/TV and then go back to the 360 it resets the 360 so just be careful about that.
