Recommended Posts

hehe... well to end the debate, as everyone says xbox has better hardware (not as many games isn't relevant right now) So to summarize, xbox has better HD support

I have all three consoles and I only play one game for each:

GC: Super Smash Bros (no better game to play stoned)

PS2: Gran Turismo 2

X-Box: Jedi Outcast 2

maybe Halo 2... but that won't be for awhile :)

I've got Xbox on my 52 inch HD projection, It's great. I bought the HD cables (not too expensive and well worth it) I've also got optical 5.1 surround sound. I'd go for xbox. Having never tried PS2 on my TV however I'm a little biased.

For me PS2 is a Girl console... You know how girls have thousands of different things but they just use few of them, same with PS2. They have way too much game but there are just few that can beat xbox games. However xbox is for real man. With way better graphics, way better sounds and you got more then enough game which should entertain you for lots of time. Why would someone prefer PS2 games over Xbox anyway? Even if PS2 comes up with Halo 3, since they suck donkey balls in graphics, i would rather play House of the Dead 3. Get an Xbox. PS2 games use the maximum of their graphics and they suck, Xbox games do not use the maximum capacity yet and even so they kick ass.

i know for a fact the reason some people don't like the xbox is because it's made by microsoft. one of my friends in particular, he keeps complaining about how microsoft forcibly takes control of everything on the xbox. i keep asking him wtf he's talking about

Probably been said (didnt read EVERY post), but I'll say it anyways. Xbox is the way to go if you are doing HDTV, surround sound, all that great home entertainment technology stuff. It was built for that stuff.

On the other hand, PS2 was obsolete before it was even thought about, then it was released with a 300 MHz (close enough, don't give me that "game console architeture different than PC speeds" stuff) and doesn't even support higher resolutions.

PS fans were happy while real gamers sat back and laughed. Sorry guys, Xbox ows.

Gamecube has all that, too, you know. The only one that doesn't is the PS2.
