Don't Plan On Downloading Any More PlayStation 3 Games

Plus you get to resell it on :p I done that with AC2 to a NW member just a few weeks back.

I assume though you have no problem with the ?3-7 PSN games that could never be retail titles anyway though? It's not as if you could ever get a physical copy of Flower or PixelJunk Eden.

Why not? There's nothing stopping Sony from releasing a yearly "Best of PSN" on disc for $30 to people who don't have broadband connections or a home network capable of allowing them a connection.

Because anything physical eats into what little profits these companies make as it is, but they could trial that. I think the companies would rather have a sale on PSN, than put their product on a disc to spur sales.

LOL @ people thinking ps3 games use the blu-ray space. most games (at least 95%) are actually smaller then the 360 / wii versions. So the bandwidth would only affect the 2 or 3 games that actually use more then 6gb space.

Uh what?

The vast majority are bigger because they come with DTS, and a lot of them PCM which is uncompressed audio. The 360 uses Dolby Digital, which is essentially AC3 5.1.

Where on earth do some of you get your game facts? PS3 games smaller than Wii games? .......and 95%? I think I'm on GameFAQS.

I bet they could do some of the Sony exclusives, especially 1st-2nd party games. About 3 months after relase, most PSN games have lost all buzz, and any sales would be welcome, espcially to generate buzz for upcoming titles (add in a trailer, preview, etc.). Again, works for the millions not on PSN either because they don't care (bought for blu-ray) or don't have briadband connectivity -- either way, casual games would be up their alley.
