Recommended Posts

Hello again everyone, and good morning to those of you still awake!

As promised, the time is finally here. On February 4th, 2010, after two huge Community challenges and a massive amount of support from our fans, SEGA is proud to unveil the real name behind Project Needlemouse - so we?ll get right to it. As of this moment, it is official ? the game?s name will be: Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode 1.

YAY!

I was all "Woop!" then I read the "Episode 1"

So does this mean we will be getting multiple Sonic 4 games, or more likely just small parts that will slowly add up over time.

"Sonic The Hedgehog 4" = Classic SEGA = good

"Episode 1" = Valve = 'no new episode in 2010'

actually, thinking twice about it, it is to break from their convention of adding another playable character with every new game released, without breaking the tradition of adding another playable character with every +1 to the interger of the game's title

I'm reading it as Multiple Cost Multiple Package DLC.

I'd give my left nut for a proper Sonic. 1 & 2 still give me fond memories of my early days of gaming.

I like the look of it, but I'm not getting my hopes up, we've been burned before :p

Seriously though, they keep it old school they could be on for a winner.

/ has got the Sonic & Knuckles theme running through his head.

i cant wait to see the new look sonic going through old-skool levels...

personally i hope that some classic content get recreated alongside the new stuff, i mean if it was good then it would also be good now, but in HD

anything from remixed soundtracks to entire levels

interesting, xbox live arcade, playstation network and wii ware.

Ought to be, really. Realistically priced too. I won't pay full whack for a game that is 15 years old. More so if it's episodic.

We know what to expect of this game, so it all depends on the pricing. Try to rip us off and it will fail. Price it fairly and it could be a Sonic renaissance.

I enjoyed Sonic Unleashed day time levels. I think they were epic!

I know what you mean, I always found the night time levels boring and tedious!Utter disappointment!

Night time levels would of been perfect if Knuckles were instead of Werehog.

Makes you wonder if Sonic Team thought about it.
