Draconian Guppy
So I was browsing dpreview and found that Fuji just released a new bridge camera with "back illuminated sensor" I found this But it obviously only says pros about said technology and how it's going to "Revolutionize" High ISO etc. But surely there are cons and price is probably one of them. Also, I wonder if this is any replaced for a Full Frame camera or if said technology could be used in Full frame cameras?
Andre
Not sure about FF cameras, but it sure improves the noise level of those tiny pocket cameras making them even more attractable to the mass. Also, D3s already has mind blowing high ISO capabilities. 25600 looks like 6400 on D700/D3. And god knows what D4 will bring along - native 102400? So as far as Nikon goes, they seem to be doing just fine by refining the other technology. Which technology is better? I think this guy has the answer:
Draconian Guppy
Which technology is better? I think this guy has the answer: Clever! Edit: Also Had no idea the D3s was a lot better than the d700/d3 I thought since they were all FF sensors they had about the same performance just features here and there removed. crazzy88ss
I think D3s actually has a different sensor than the D3, hence the better performance. Cool video link!
