SaltLife
Well, I recently converted to OSX! I just purchased the mac mini and it's running 10.6.2 however the camera I just purchased does not seem to want to play nice. I am under the assumption that it (the camera) doesn't mount itself as a mass-usb storage device as it requires the software to be seen by mac. Of course this could be my negligence in understanding osx. however I feel it should recognize this by default as such win/nix does. Anyway I installed the latest updates that says it supports osx 10.6.x and it still seems to hang. iphoto launches when the device is connected by claims no photos are available. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated???
SaltLife
Nevermind just needed to reformat the SD card. Apparently either the Camera or OSX has issues if the SD card had been used on different cameras (mind you I have taken pictures with this camera and it had read all previous data, and I backed up the photos on a linux box). Word to the wise, as I'm sure most of you know, format the card prior to installing even if the camera recognizes the photos.
