I'm sure that all of you know this book and that it is great, I'm currently reading the book and also I want to watch its movie interpretation (since it is a school assignement and I really need to remember the maximum of details about the book). When I looked it up in imdb I found 2 movies: the 1946 version: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038574/ the 1998 version: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119223/ So I was wondering which version is more faithful to the book? Because If I were to choose which one to watch it'll be the 1998 version since Hawke and Paltrow are starring in it in addition to the fact that I hate colorless movies lool Need help out here :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
