FIFA 10 hits 9.7 million lifetime sales

Electronic Arts has revealed that last year's iteration of its annual football title, FIFA 10, had sold 9.7 million units by the end of December 2009 - just shy of a major landmark in 10 million, but one that it's likely to have passed in the last month. Awful on the PC. >_> The PS2 versions of FIFA look better than this.

They have always been awful on the PC.

Fifa10 is great on the xbox360, and thanks to supermarkets it only cost ?25 at launch. :)

Yep, FIFA 10 is quite amazing. I've put so many hours into it, well worth the ?25 it cost.

Yes, it'd be interesting to see what the amount of units shifted were at that price point across the various shops, I bet it helped a fair bit I guess.

When did Europeans stop buying the PES games and start buying FIFA?

I think maybe it started with FIFA 08 but with my friends it was FIFA 09 after seeing that PES hadn't changed at all from the previous year.
